History and development

Founded by Helge Berger, an experienced expert from Bremen, “Ihr Wirtschaftslotse” has developed into a leading partner in the inland shipping industry since 2009.

After more than two decades in management positions in corporations and medium-sized companies, Mr Berger moved to a large leasing company. There, among other things, he built up the core business area of inland waterway vessels independently and very successfully.

At the end of 2008, Helge Berger decided to pursue his passion for inland shipping even more intensively and founded “Ihr Wirtschaftslotse”. Today, “Ihr Wirtschaftslotse” is an established consultancy firm that has emerged from the vision and expertise of its founder and supports inland shipping companies, shipping companies and shipping companies.

Helge Berger and his team utilise their extensive experience from the business and banking sectors to act as coaches and consultants in all entrepreneurial matters.

Our company sees itself as a trusted navigator in the dynamic world of inland shipping, with the aim of developing and implementing sustainable and successful strategies for our clients.
